Aorus Elite 16 review: Is this high-end RTX 5070 gaming laptop worth buying?

A pricey experience. While the Aorus Elite 16 only features an RTX 5070, the 16-inch model costs as much as some RTX 5070 Ti laptops.

In terms of build quality, the Aorus Elite 16 is truly exceptional. While the chassis isn't entirely metal, this 16-inch laptop still exudes a premium feel, especially with its mostly convincing input devices. In terms of performance, the processor is particularly impressive: the Intel Core Extreme 9 275HX delivers excellent performance, as always. The Elite 16 stands out from the competition thanks to its above-average speakers.

Even the directional arrows, which are quite small on many laptops, are of a reasonable size. Typing feel is also acceptable unless you expect mechanical laptops. The touchpad also received good reviews; accuracy, gesture support, and swipe characteristics were all lacking. The 13.4 x 9 cm surface area is more than adequate for a 16-inch device.
