LifeThe X30L-K isn’t the fastest laptop on the market, but it’s got decent processing power. I found it had no problem running business apps, browsing the web, and streaming video, but it struggled a bit with video editing and gaming.
The Portege X30L-K may be a thin and light laptop, but when it comes to battery life, it’s definitely not thin and light. It lasted an impressive 13 hours and 2 minutes on the PC Mark 10 test, which plays a 1080P video until the Dynabook  laptop battery is dead. I also tested this laptop using PC Mark 10’s Modern Office test, which simulates someone working intensively on a spreadsheet and other common work tasks, and the battery life was about the same at just over 13 hours. That’s pretty impressive.
One thing to note is that I turned the screen brightness down to 200 Cd/M2 for both tests, two stops below minimum brightness. I did this for consistency so different laptops tested similarly. Turning the screen brightness up would undoubtedly shorten theDynabook Portege X30L laptop batterylife.
