For lack of a better comparison, it looks like the iPhone 15 Pro to me, with a “printed” feel, probably because the Pixel 9 Pro XL’s display panel is allegedly the same one Apple has chosen for the iPhone 16 Pro. The bump in panel brightness didn’t make a huge difference to my eyes, except that it was easier to see the screen in direct sunlight.
