The Xiaomi Mi 15T Pro’s hardware is impressive, far exceeding its price point, but software remains a hurdle. The Mi 15T Pro is a dark horse in this competition. Released alongside some high-profile smartphones, this entry-level flagship offers excellent value, boasting a large, bright display, powerful performance, exceptionally long Xiaomi 15T Pro Cell Phone Batterylife, and a new 5x telephoto camera. The selfie camera uses the same 32-megapixel sensor, but with a slightly smaller aperture (f/2.2 instead of f/2.0). Face unlocking via the selfie camera and the under-display optical fingerprint sensor both worked efficiently, and connectivity has been upgraded to support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0. The new Apple AirPods Pro 3 boast twice the performance of active noise cancellation (ANC), a built-in heart rate monitor, and a real-time translation mode. The earbuds themselves also offer longerApple AirPods Pro 3 Headphones Batterylife, though this is a slight drawback.
Indeed, the Apple AirPods Pro 3 are rated for up to 8 hours of continuous playback, up from 6 hours for the Pro 2. However, the new earbuds offer a total listening time of 24 hours (earbuds + charging case), which is 6 hours less than the Pro 2’s 30 hours.

The Pro 3 earbuds weigh 5.55 grams (0.20 ounces), and with the charging case, the total weight is 43.99 grams (1.55 ounces). In comparison, the Pro 2 earbuds weigh 5.3 grams (0.19 ounces), and with the charging case, the total weight is 50.8 grams (1.79 ounces). This means the new charging case is significantly lighter, likely due to the smaller Apple AirPods Pro 3 Headphones Battery in the Apple AirPods Pro 3 earbuds.
It’s important to note that the Pro 3 earbuds use the same Apple H2 chip as their predecessors. However, to enable the “Find” feature, the case has been upgraded to a U2 chip (the previous case used a U1 chip). Incidentally, we’re curious to see how much of an impact the built-in heart rate sensor will have—Apple says that with heart rate monitoring enabled during exercise, the AirPods Pro 3 can last up to 6.5 hours on a single charge. This is with Transparency mode enabled. With Transparency mode enabled and no exercise mode engaged, the earbuds can’t read individual heart rates, but with the hearing aids and Transparency mode enabled, the AirPods Pro 3 can last up to 10 hours.

That’s a good start to competing with the basic Surface Pro 11 configuration, while also showing that it’s more affordable than another 2-in-1 tablet we tested recently, the much more expensive Dell Latitude 7350 Detachable. The Asus ProArt PZ13 has great promise, but its choice of a low-end Snapdragon X Plus processor (a choice made due to some compatibility issues) may prevent it from being the perfect tool for many people. But as a 2-in-1 tablet, it’s very compelling. Asus ProArt PZ13 Laptop Batterylife is goodThe keys are a little soft and could be more stable. As a result, I was able to type at a little over 100 words per minute with a little over 95% accuracy, but it’s hard to type faster. The Asus ProArt PZ13 has a good trackpad that can be used for a variety of purposes. For a trackpad built into the keyboard cover, its size is impressive and comparable to trackpads on other Asus laptops. The ProArt PZ13 has regained some praise for battery life, with a 70Wh battery (very generous for a compact tablet) that lasts for more than 16 hours. It’s well ahead of the competition in this regard, especially considering Asus used a crisp OLED display.
OLED can turn off letterbox pixels and save power. Between the two, the Asus ProArt PZ13’s overall efficiency and its large Asus ProArt PZ13 laptop battery
(the second-largest battery) allow it to outlast its competitors.
Asus ProArt PZ13: ConclusionThe Asus ProArt PZ13 is a stylish little tablet with a gorgeous display that can be used for both content consumption and creation. It’s surprising that it doesn’t make more sacrifices at just $1,099, and even more surprising that Asus also includes the crucial keyboard accessory that lets the Asus ProArt PZ13 be used as both a tablet and a laptop. The detachable keyboard is a nice accessory, though it’s not a great keyboard in itself, and such laptop alternatives tend not to be comfortable resting on your lap or on soft surfaces.

Oppo’s next flagship Android phone hasn’t been fully announced yet (the Find X7 Ultra is pictured above), and it may not be until the end of the year. Now, though, we have a look at the ultra-powerful, fully integrated chipset that powers the experience. The Find X7 launched in January 2024 with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 4nm chip, so it makes sense that the next generation will be equipped with the natural successor to that chip, which is now manufactured on TSMC’s next-generation 3nm process.
So what can Oppo fans expect from the new CPU? For starters, it offers a second-generation all-big core design based on the Arm v9.2 CPU architecture. It’s 40% more efficient, with a total of 29.1 billion transistors and a new Arm Cortex X925 core, along with three Cortex X4 and four Cortex A720 cores.

Benchmarks show a 35% increase in single-core scores and a 28% increase in multi-core CPU scores. They hit 3055 and 9600 in Geekbench 6, respectively. Considering that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra scored 2229 single-core and 6853 multi-core in our test using Geekbench 6, it looks like the Find X8 will be an absolute Android powerhouse.
There’s also a 12-core Immortalis G925 GPU, which offers 41% better peak performance, 40% faster ray tracing, and 44% better overall efficiency.
MediaTek also unveiled the eighth-generation 890 NPU, which MediaTek calls “industry-leading AI performance.” It has both performance cores and flexible cores, and supports high-resolution video generation, with 70% better performance for large language model prompts. It’s 35% more efficient than the previous generation SoC.
In addition to raw power, it also supports HDR video recording throughout the zoom range of the camera hardware, and it also supports Wi-Fi 7 thanks to a new 4nm Wi-Fi Bluetooth combo chip with 7.3Gbps data rates.
We will get more information about the Oppo Find X8 when the Chinese manufacturer decides to officially release the phone, but the chipset alone has us excited for the launch.
